The trip from Montgomery to Mary Esther, Fl was uneventful, except for the wind left behind from the big winter storm which was trying to share the steering control on the motorhome. We have had a complete change of environment for the rustic and pleasant state park in VA and the commercial but poor KOA camp in GA. We are camped on the Sound bordering the Gulf of Mexico in Navarre Beach, FL. We are here to visit our daughter, Heather and her husband Ryan. We have found a campground with a truly great view of the ocean. Since our lives have been tied to the marine environment for many years, it is a bit like coming home. We enjoyed a brilliant sunset right from our campsite.
Heather came by for her first look at the motorhome and stayed for dinner. We had a pleasant evening catching up with events and introducing Heather to our other daughter’s (Katie) new Wii game. We are looking forward to a fun few days in FL.

This look different from our current weather. Yes we have a red sunset but then it is about 14F brrrrr....
The sunset beats the chilly weather bestowed upon us Northerners...
