We had made
plans to visit our friends Dan and Corrie during the 4th of July
period, as getting into a campground would be impossible without advanced
reservations. Looking at the map and the
heavy traffic around Seattle, we decided to take the Washington State ferry
route from Kingston to Edmonds, WA. We
guessed correctly that there would not be much traffic heading east on the
ferry. We were first in line on lane
four for the boat. It was a great ferry
ride on the ferry Walla Walla.
Getting off the
ferry, our drive to their place northeast of Seattle was an easy drive. However, the opposing traffic for the
westward ferry to the peninsula was unbelievable, it went on for many miles
with police controlling, or trying too.
We set up in the driveway to begin our mooch camping.

Haha - mooch camping. It helps allay the cost of RV parks!
