Before we were hit with several days of severe thunderstorms and flooding conditions, we made a day trip to Port Aransas, where much of the spring break college crowd activities will take place in a few days. We were lucky to visit the beach area via car ferry before the big crowds arrive. Except for spring break, the big thing here is fishing.
We were then hunkered down for a few days in heavy thunderstorms and tornado warnings. There was hail and winds reported to be over 60 MPH. We were lucky and had just some small damage to our air conditioner cooling fins. Others suffered more damage, including flooding and structural issues. I have always said I would rather be lucky than good.

Wouldn't the best be lucky and good!!! And rich! :)
After over five years of full timing in our 06 Itasca Meridian, we have bought a home and traded the Meridian for a 2012 Winnebago View for our anytime travel adventures.
