Well, we are almost ready to go. The motorhome is nearly packed and we have made all the arrangements that we can think of to care for the house in our absence. Of course , little ever seems to go as you expect and yesterday after months of inactivity, our realtor called with a request to show the house twice today! Right in the middle of getting ready to leave.
We are looking forward to the departure and not a bit too soon, as were had to winterize the coach end of last week due to temperatures into the mid twenties. It is definitely time to go. There have been some nice fall colors, but the first snow has already fallen.
We hope to keep this journal up , so that friends and family may follow our adventures and misadventures ( I am sure there will be some) as we travel this great country.
Take off in TWO DAYS!
