A friend lost
We have been in a bit of a funk the last few days. As were driving to our current location in Berlin, Ohio in Amish country, we received a phone call from a friend letting us know that Steve Ciccalone had just passed away. This came as a real shock, since we spent last weekend visiting with him and having a great time. He was in great spirits and was looking forward to the future.
Apparently, just four days after we departed, he suddenly died. We have not heard the cause, as yet, but it was very quick. He was 59.
He was a terrific person and will be missed greatly.

So sorry about your loss of a friend. We can never understand how these things come to pass, but come to pass they do. Please be glad that you had a chance so very recently to visit with him.
I am very sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your friend. It must be a real shock after seeing him just a few days ago and to lose him at such a young age.
Take care.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. How wonderful that you were able to visit with him. Very young man, so definitely a shock.
I am very sorry in the loss of your friend. It was really nice that you got to visit and spend time with him before he passed. He was far too young.

Sorry to hear of your sadness at the loss of your friend. We just never know what tomorrow will bring. May God give you and his family His peace that passes all understanding!
Sudden loss like this one reminds us of how very fragile life is. Hold on to your precious memories, especially those of last week.
Cherish every moment of every day.

So very sorry for your loss.
How fortunate that you had a chance to visit with him last week. It doesn't make it any easier, but you have fresh wonderful memories of him.
None of us have had the good fortune to have met your friend Steve, but we feel the sadness of his passing.
He certainly looked healthy enough in your pictures. We just never know what lurks in our veins. Hopefully he passed peacefully. He looked to be a genuinely nice man. It would seem you were fortunate to have been his friend.
My condolences.
My condolences; when a death is so sudden, it is especially hard. When it is so sudden, and at such a young age, it is even harder. May memories of your recent visit with him provide some consolation.
Sorry for your loss. Glad you got to spend some time with him. We should value every minute with friends and family as the future is so uncertain.
Wow, that is a shocker. Sorry to hear the bad news. At least you got a chance to visit with him one last time and I'm sure he enjoyed it.
Enjoy every day, they are precious.
Very sorry to hear about your friend's passing. I wish you much strength.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your good friend. It is even harder to digest since you were just with him a few weeks ago and he was fine. It does remind us that life is fragile.
I am glad you all had such a wonderful time together....good memories to cherish!!
so sorry for the loss of your friend..life is indeed short!
How sad - way too young...
We are so sorry for the sad news. We both know what a shock this has to be you you as we just went through the same thing. Remember he is now at peace!
I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your friend... Yet happy to read that you recently got to spend some time with him! You have those memories to cherish!
Hubster recently lost a friend here at home while we were out and about... as we're all aging, those things seem to be happening all too frequently. Some sooner than we'd like!
