We arrived back home a few days ago after a great
trip. The main focus of the trip was the
Lewis and Clark caravan with 22 motorhomes, traveling the entire route that
Lewis and Clark followed on their epic exploration of the west directed by
President Jefferson. After that, we explored more of the west to see places
that have been on our bucket list for quite awhile.
In total, the trip lasted 73 days. We covered 8, 250 miles and visited 20 states. I am very happy to say
that the motorhome performed well, with no problems.
I plan to post on those parts of the trip I have not
covered while on the road.
The first half of the trip was focused on Lewis and
Clark
Learning much more about the Native Americans
Visiting historical sites
Natural beauty
Monuments
Toughest river entrance in USA
Most western point in America
Big trees
Always ready

a grand adventure 😃
I know where that Coast Guard ship was photographed at .. Astoria. Been there, done that. We loved the stories and videos at the museum.
WOW...what an adventure. I am sure y'all learned a ton along the way. So glad the MH worked well.
Welcome home ... looking forward to the rest of the story.
I love how they displayed that 44 MLB. Brings back lots of memories of sailing on one. Preserved so well showing the dangerous conditions it worked in for so many years. I've got lots of pictures of the one in the museum and one I sailed on when stationed on Long Island many years ago. Maybe that makes me a museum piece, too! ;c)
What a great trip! Following along the historic Lewis and Clark expedition. Awesome.
