We have completed, what for us has been a rush north
to Bangor, Maine. We arrived this PM to
relax before crossing the border into Canada for a 47 day tour of the Canadian Atlantic
provinces. We planned the trip into
roughly equal legs and selected campgrounds solely on distance between them
with a check of reviews to ensure we would survive the stop over.
Overall, we were pleased with our selections and
several would be a destination in and of themselves. Wednesday, we plan cross the border at
Calais, Maine for the start of our tour of the provinces. A few pictures of the stops along
the way.

Don't overdo it on Pumpkin Pie in that campground, you need to save room for lobster! :c)
Enjoy your trip. We haven't made a trip east yet so will be following closely.
Are you in some kind of a caravan, or are you doing the 47 days on your own?
We stayed at Pumpkin Patch last Fall. Nice folks. Looking forward to your Canadian tour.
Love the photos - I went to Maine for a schooner cruise many, many years ago. I love that state.
We find some of the RV parks we choose we're thrilled with and other ones not so much. Have fun on your tour. However, I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Yep, that sounds like a quick trip in five days! I think after you spend 47 days in the Canadian Maritimes you are going to wish you had even more time there. I am sure that you will love it, the scenery is fantastic and the people are friendly. Enjoy your time.

Have a good trip!!
Just what we intended to do this summer although not on quite such a fast track....Maine and the Maritimes. I'll be enjoying it through you and others who are up there. I know you'll have a great time.
Sometimes you just haul ass to get where you want to spend quality time.
Can always use recommendations for campgrounds in the area.
