Visiting the Grandson
Harvest Moon campground in Adairsville, GA has become a regular stop for us, as it is the best campground within an easy drive to our daughter’s family. It has large pull through sites with free cable TV, Wi-Fi and laundry. While we have never used it, there is also a pool. As an added attraction, there is free popcorn in the office, whenever you have the urge.
Our grandson, Aleister, is three years old and since we see him only twice a year on average, he is a new person on every visit. The one constant is his high energy level. He is a huge fan of big trucks and tractors, especially if they are John Deere. So, while in Moline, IL, I picked up a John Deere shirt and hat, so we would have matching outfits. He was quite pleased with this.
It has been a fun visit so far, with watching him drive around his motorized vehicles in the backyard and a picnic at the motorhome. Halley enjoyed the picnic as she is only allowed to lick paper plates.
This area is rich in the history of our country and we are still exploring new venues with each visit. But, honestly, when all is said and done, it is really about spending time with the grandson.

Have Fun!!!!!
Nothing better than that time ~ once upon a time someone living in my body said it would be okay if my sons and the ones they married decided not to have children!!! I suppose that would still be okay, but man oh man, I am so thankful the oldest and his beautiful wife wanted them and I treasure being Grame to Sam, Lily and Noah!
Enjoy your visit with your Grandson. Great pictures, he looks to be having a great time!
I agree with you 100%. And isn't it amazing how the little ones just love trucks and anything with wheels and an engine! Your grandson is a cutie and I'm sure you are enjoying him.

Looks like you are having a great time with your grandson and other family members. Enjoy your time there!
