We headed north and visited the Quinault rain forest before
camping at the South Beach campground on the ocean operated by the NFS. There is a beautiful lodge on Lake Quinault
that was built in 1926. It was designed by the same architect that designed the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone National Park.
We hiked up the trail to see the falls and enjoyed the beauty of the
area. Visiting the lodge is definitely
something to do.
