HOH Rain Forest NP

27 June 2017

Leaving South Beach campground, we headed north again. We stopped at beaches 3 and 4 for a quick look.

We then stopped at Ruby Beach where a ranger was giving a walking tour of the beach.

Our next stop was the HOH Rain Forest. Here you can walk the trails and enjoy the amazing trees and the eco system they support.  Many of these trees grow to over two hundred feet high and support a treetop eco system of their own.

We found a campground in Sekiu called Ripers Resort RV Park.  Calling it a resort was a bit over the top, it is actually a fish camp. We were lucky to get in. When fishing season starts it would have been filled to overflow with fishermen.

Such a lush and beautiful terrain, I know you enjoyed walking through it. It reminded me a bit of the giant Sequoias...on a smaller scale. The trees are still massive and such beauty. Did I see a few Hemlocks in your pics? Thank you for sharing.

Lots of fishcamp campgrounds in OR. Good thing you've downsized to a smaller RV!
