Arco, ID

We have moved our base of operations to Arco, ID to visit the Craters of the Moon National Monument. We are staying at the Mountain View RV Park. For those of you who also Read Travels with Emma, this may be a bit of déjà vue. We learned about this campground from her blog and I think we are in a site very near the one Judy had. This is a very friendly place and we have already taken advantage of the free breakfast for campers.

The high school classes are apparently in a competition to place their year of graduation on the best location on the mountain above the town.

Halley seems to enjoy it here and is fascinated by the goats in the field directly behind our site.

Looks like a nice RV park. One of the best things about reading blogs and writing a blog is the sharing of great information. Good thing you read Judy's blog!

Enjoy your time in Arco.

Thank you for mentioning the park. I know I should be writing these places down as I read about them, and now I will have to go back through a lot of blogs to find what I'm looking for. So my list is going to begin with this park at Craters of the Moon. Can't beat two bloggers giving it the thumbs up!

I've seen a few other full-timers blog about this very place -- goats included! It looks like a pretty good RV park.

Aren't the pancakes just huge? Hope you enjoy Craters of the Moon, I know I did! Have you found the lead goat with the deformed lip? Thanks for the shout out! :)
