Blogging

Our stay in the D.C. area included a lot of rain and time spent in the MH catching up on misc things. The Bull Run Regional Park is large and well maintained. If we return to the area, we will try to stay here again.

One of the things that we do when waiting out the rain, is reading the blogs we follow. We have made several contacts via these blogs and we were able to meet a blogger that Anneke has been reading for awhile. We arranged to meet for lunch and also invited our friend Marja to attend since everyone but me is Dutch. We met Petra, as arranged, and enjoyed a very nice lunch and conversation.

We have been able to meet bloggers “Holland Ranch” from Texas, Klaas “blips “from Minnesota and fellow full timers Gypsy Larry and our friends Corrie and Dan. Without the blogs, we would not have had the chance to meet these folks.

Nice post. We, too, were able to meet up with a few bloggers this trip. It is sort of a small world after all.

I'm going to check out this Bull Run Park you mention. Thanks for the tip on that and the other bloggers.

It was very nice to meet you and Anneke, Chuck (and Marja too, of course). Believe it or not, but we were at the Lebanese Taverna again tonight, our oldest is very fond of the place. Safe travels!

Hi Folks - you had left a comment on my blog (whelanswheels.blogspot.com) regarding my post in NC. We are at Mayberry Campground (mayberrycampground.com) and are just loving it. I enjoyed perusing your blog - loved the map at the bottom and the placement of the current location - going to try to add them to mine as well, although I work from a Mac and seem to have some issues loading somethings to my blog because of it. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog - hope you enjoyed it! How did you find it?
