Back in Ohio

We arrived in Ohio a little over two weeks ago. Since then it seems that we have been continually camped in areas which Verizon apparently deems to be not worth good coverage. Hence, I have fallen behind on this journal.

Our first Ohio stop was in Van Buren for a get together with our local Winnebago club. As usual, these events are a lot of fun with the good conversation, food, and the traditional campfire.

From there we headed to Maumee Bay State Park, where we spent two weeks while we had our annual check of health indicators and visits with a number of friends. This included our Winnebago Club annual fish fry, where once again great food was a center piece of the event. We finally got to use our bikes after months of hanging on the back of the motorhome in the mountains of the west. While there, we also visited the Ottawa National Wildlife refuge, which will soon filled with migrating birds.

Next will hopefully be a short visit at our RV dealer for service and then on to a Good Sam RV Rally.
