High Falls State Park, GA

Our first stop after spending time with family was High Falls State Park.  This was our planned staging stop for being able to arrive at the Good Sam Rally at the Atlantic Speedway in Hampton GA for the designated AM arrival on our appointed day.  The park is an easy access of the interstate and would be a good overnight stop.  It has a scenic cascading falls and hiking trails.  The river campground is roomy with many of the spots level and long.

We will certainly stop here again if we need a spot to spend the night south of Atlanta.

That looks like a place you will be able to enjoy until all the others start showing up.

That is a nice site, good thing you've downsized. Don't think your old MH would have fit. With your View, you must have many more places to camp.

Nico's hair is a riot! :c)

We stayed at High Falls many years ago and it was full of feral cats. Not a good place for us.

Beautiful header pic of Nico.

You've got a nice spot there - love all that rushing water.

Beautiful pictures. It looks like a lovely place to hang out for a while. Your view looks so cute there all snuggled in the trees. I do like those Views, they can go so many more places than a big RV.
