A busy Sunday

The day started off with an early hike to the Forest City airport near the rally grounds for a flight breakfast in one of the hangars. We were joined by friends and had a good start to the day. Hanging around the airport brought back memories of my years as a general aviation pilot and the many hours spent flying and hanging around airports.

On the hike back, we decided to spend some time exploring the Heritage Park, just outside the rally grounds. This park is preserving the history of rural Iowa, so that future generations will have a better understanding of what life in Iowa was like for their forebears.

We continue to spend much of our time visiting with friends old and new. With so many folks enjoying the same lifestyle in close proximity, it is hard to keep to a schedule, as we walk around. There have been numerous impromptu get togethers with lots of fun and chatting.

Looks like you all are having a great time! The weather also looks like it is cooperating. :)
Have fun meeting up with old friends and making new ones.
