An all hands project

Before hitting the road for our next trip, a weather window of opportunity demanded that we paint our daughter's house while the sun shined.

The house is one story which can be painted with only the use of a step ladder.  While Oma watched Nico, our daughter and Victoria and I pitched in to get the job done.

When all was said and done, we had prepped the house and painted it in less than three days.  It might have gone a bit faster, but Nico decided to provide some supervision and this added a bit of time.

It was a fun time and the kids are ready to do it again.

Better get those little ones painting before they figure out it's work! ;)

Looks like you had a good crew on the job.

Wish I'd had that crew when we last had to paint the house. Almost made it look like fun. Almost!

What a difference a coat of paint makes. Glad you had so many hands to make your work lighter. Lol

Good thing Nico was there to make sure you did the job right ;-)

That is quite the job to tackle - your daughter is lucky to have such able helpers!

I'm personally hoping that the kids don't have any house "work" for us this summer when we get there. Sure would be fun just to visit. The house really does look good with the new paint job.

It won't be too long until those little ones will find someplace else to be before the paint can is opened. They learn to run from things like that.
